Training Adoption Methodology (TAM)

Our Training Adoption Methodology (TAM) represents a holistic approach to training. The most effective way approach to training is to consider it as an ongoing process, instead of a one-time event. The continual training process empowers learners when they need training the most. This approach takes into account the learning needs of your implementation team and your end-user population.

The TAM Approach is comprised of six distinct but interrelated phases.

  1. Strategy Planning Session. The determination of who your learners are and what are their learning needs.

  2. Project Team Training. In this phase we match budget to the greater implementation project outline to the availability of resources to attend training. This in turn produces your implementation team training project plan.

  3. User Definition. As your system is being configured, the end user population needs to be identified, segmented and their collective needs must be analyzed. This part of the process A plan addresses and surpasses their distinct learning needs.

  4. Building the User Experience. This phase drives the design and development of user materials. Materials are typically built with a blended approach in mind. This blended approach allows the student to learn at their pace on their terms.

  5. Delivery and Deployment Methods. This phase addresses how materials are distributed to your users. It focuses on the internal resources combined with external resources that are needed to successfully provide training.

  6. Transition to Client. Your participation and ultimate ownership is key to the training partnership. Collaboration throughout the training process allows for a seamless and easy transition for you to ultimately manage the project themselves.

User Adoption

As you get closer to final system configuration and go-live, your end user population needs to be empowered so that they are performing the new tasks in the manner and order that has been designed. End users can be as diverse as line level, supervisory, managerial or C-level users. As part of our Training Adoption Methodology we collaborate with both Subject Matter Experts (SME) to design, develop and deploy training to end users with the right blend of traditional and custom learning objects. The key to successful end user adoption is to provide both process and conceptual training in easily accessible formats in terms appropriate to learn at the times the learners need it most.
