Job Title: Training Content Developer

Job Description
SUMMARY

These individuals will be responsible for developing all training content for client projects. They will work closely with the project team members to design course content that is role based and targeted to transferring specific skills to the end users. These individuals will design courses for delivery in accordance with the defined Training Curriculum and Design Schedule.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledgeable on use of MS Office applications and screen capture tools
  • Understanding of instructional design principles
  • Understanding of or ability to quickly learn subject matter
  • Research skills Grasp of teaching methods and techniques
  • Ability to use, or quickly learn, any training material development tools
  • Basic understanding of Government and /or private sector Accounting and Budgeting procedures Human Resource Management, Benefit Administration, Payroll procedures
  • Basic understanding of CRM functionalities
  • General understanding of Government and /or private sector enterprise wide financial systems
  • Logical, analytical thought process
  • Strong business background essential
  • Ability to define specific training needs and translate into specifications
  • Ability to develop training work products
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Working knowledge of the methodology and work activities relevant to their role
  • Ability to define detailed learning objectives
  • Ability to develop instructor guides, exercises, work instructions and job aids
  • Experience with developing or modify Web Based Training modules
  • Experience with developing or modify Instructor-Led Training materials
  • Ability to develop or modify End-User Training materials
  • Experience in developing training materials for train the trainer sessions
  • Proof reading skills
  • Ability to communicate with highly technical team members and develop training that can be understood by non-technical individuals.
  • Previous experience managing Accounting or HR departments
  • Experienced in developing technical training courses
